Welcome to Lion Manor, a timeless masterpiece where heritage and old-world grandeur embraces refinement.
Inspired by legendary Scottish and English castles and built over years by world-class artisans.
"This is not simply a residence; it is an estate to be passed through generations."
Constructed with the unparalleled integrity of 98% granite and brick,
the Manor is a rare treasure for those who understand that history is not bought, but collected.
Here, strength, artistry, and entrepreneurial spirit converge, embodying the Latin maxim carved above the entry:
“Rein Trauvant Gainera Tot” — Finding nothing, I must earn everything.

The Mahogany Legacy
Over $300,000 was spent in 1995 in solid Honduran mahogany—every door, trim, and railing was hand-carved, hand-fitted, and hand-finished on-site by English craftsmen.
A rare and now unobtainable wood. Hand crafted with no prefabricated molds or shortcuts. The wood alone in todays dollars is over $650,000 and took over 2 years to complete.

Castle Foundation
Rests on a 3-foot-thick concrete slab with reinforced concrete exterior walls. This fortress-like construction guarantees no settling, cracking, or water intrusion in over two decades.
Windows & Doors were imported aluminum double-pane Eagle Windows from Germany.
Fireplaces hand-carved from imported European stone with fire-rated clay flues.
Gutters are entirely copper featuring custom collection boxes reminiscent of 16th-century castles
Beams in the massive great room were salvaged from Lake Erie, then milled, doweled and assembled by hand.

European-Sourced Elegance
The architecture of Lion Manor draws inspiration from legendary European estates such as Shield Hill Hall Manor, Munster Castle in Scotland, Fountain Abbey House in Northern England and Sir Walter Scott's English residence.
Two English craftsmen, trained on the island of Gibralter, were brought to Atlanta specifically to complete the interior.
Antique chandeliers sourced from Europe and South America, all converted from gas to electric. The grand entry chandelier was salvaged from a 19th-century saloon in New Mexico.
Built-in cabinetry in the study and library was designed around antique pieces collected from Europe prior to construction.

Structural Integrity
& Lasting Quality

A History of Grandeur, Reborn in Atlanta
Lion Manor is an inspired fortress designed for those
who collect not just art, but history.
The estate sits on 2 private acres at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac along Sope Creek and was conceived after its original owner toured legendary manors across Scotland and England, dedicating three years to design and another three years to construction.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire a home built on an unwavering commitment to European artistry and enduring strength.
